Each and every bi-folding errand is designed and manufactured specifically to suit your personal requirements, there are no standard sizes, just the sizes you need each and every time we are asked for a design and quotation.

Profiles / Extrusions
With a patented and highly engineered ultra-strong profile system, designed and engineered to meet the specific needs and challenges that a moving aluminium structure has to deliver. Strengths of up to 120 KG/M2 can be achieved to absorb extreme snow and wind loads.

Coating / Finishes
Every part is terms-coated and certified ‘Qualicoat’ and ‘Qualimarine’ that certify the best and strongest coating for any environment, including sea shores, acidic environments and sandy places.

Wall Supporting Structure / Ladder System
The wall structure (ladder system) is coated in the same colour as your main frame to deliver consistency and aesthetics throughout, including unique and patented waterproofing system to repel water away.

Roof Structure
The roof structure is constructed of oval aluminium tubes placed every 400mm ensuring lateral strength and rigidity. notwithstanding acoustic dampening when roof panels are adhered to each member fully (so rigid that we are happy to walk on the roof to work, but after we have cleaned our shoes of course)

Roof Panel
Roof panels are made from next generation ‘Alveolar’ polycarbonate sheets with breathable finishes avoiding green moss development inside. Fully treated also on both sides to block solar uv it is available in translucent or opaline (white)
07.
Brackets
Junctions between roof and side parts are made of full aluminium 7075 bracketry, not in fusion aluminium as most other aluminium fabricated frame systems are, 7075 is used within the aerospace industry and is stronger than steel itself, ensuring there are no weak points between frame junction and moving elements alike.

Element Guides
All guides are integrated within the structure and completely concealed, developed and patented to avoid and blocking, they do not require oil. They keep the elements together and allow smooth movement and operation.
09.
Wheels
Made from one single polyamide block, with a shock absorbing rubber, they are virtually wear free. They also possess a stainless steel bearing and there are not two, but four wheels per element.

Glass
Single and double glazed options are available in toughened glass that is suitable for public and commercial spaces also.
11.
Waterproofing
Waterproofing is ensured by long life rubber seals. The unique “reverse seal” system, placing the seals on the back portion of the element and not on the front, as most other aluminium framed systems do. Avoids the seals rubbing and scratching the glass of the previous element.
12.
Anchorage Brackets
The unique and patented anchorage brackets are placed on the sides of the elements instead of the front, ensuring the wind and roof load forces (Inc snow loading) works in compression not in shearing.
13.
Anchorage System
The manual anchorage system ensures a perfect resistance and stability against high winds. They also provide security with the anti-theft system avoiding opening without a key.

Ground Guiding Rails
Ground guiding rails are only used to assist and guide the moving element, whilst 35% of designs are actually designed and manufactured without the need and work perfectly. The height is 10mm so bearing visible, not a try hazard and curved to ensure neat look.
15.
Bi-Folding Doors
We are proud of our bi-folding doors! They are sliding thanks to the unique and patented trolley and not only a simple roller and with specific calculations they find the exact place to decenter the hanging to ensure a perfect operation.
16.
Ground Brushes
The double layer brushes providing ground waterproofing, draft exclusion and leaf and dust entry and are unalterable via UV.
17.
Bolts and Handles
All bolts, handles and accessories are made from aluminium or stainless steel A2.

Moulding / Cover Cap Design
The ‘Verandir’ mouldings have been created to deliver the highest standard look to the portal frames.

21.
Timings
The process from start to finish will be approximately 16 weeks once we have agreed your own specific design, we need to then undertake an accurate survey, create bespoke manufacture drawings that suit your specific requirements, get them approved and then begin the procurement phase, before receiving the product from Belgium, assembling in our factory, delivering to site (sometimes with specific cranes and/or lifting equipment all arranged and included for the larger scale spans and co-ordinated as part of our procurement process)
Then finally installing in approximately only two days due to the pre-site process being so detailed.
